- Ed Hembree Wildlife Management Area A Alabama Public Land Acquistion Project. This
Alabama Wetlands Compensatory Mitigation Site is in the process of being restored to
original wetlands functions. Compensatory wetlands credits will be offered to individuals,
agencies and industry whose development impacts wetlands. Obtain your wetlands
compensatory wetlands mitigation credits from AWA and you will be helping all Alabama
public land users, as this will be your most economical way of meeting your needs.
