Alabama Waterfowl Association
presents

A mallard release and restoration seminar

Montgomery, Alabama

Saturday, March 2 ,2002    at 6:00 p.m.

The jest of the meeting is to enhance Alabama's waterfowl population, AWA
has experienced that if you increase the hunting and bird watching
opportunity in the area, the private landowners, farmers and hunting clubs
will develop and enhance habitat for wildlife.  The increase in waterfowl
hunting and tourism will also enhance the local economy.

If you want to ensure waterfowl on your habitat in Alabama, you need to
attend this Mallard Restoration Seminar featuring Jim Hills owner of Frost
Waterfowl Trust.  Alabama cannot depend on mallards coming from the north
every year.  Alabama waterfowl population depends on the northern weather
patterns, no matter how many ducks raise in the northern part of the U.S.
and Canada.  Alabama's waterfowl population will increase depending on
participants that release these Frost mallards using AWA's Mallard
Restoration guidelines.
